Dev Joshi is a famous Indian television actor who is known for his role of ” Baal Veer “ in Sony Sab’s serials ” Baal Veer ” and “Baal Veer Return “. He made his debut on NDTV Imagine as Young Shukra in 2009. In the next year, Joshi appeared with the lead role of Young Shaurya in Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora. He also worked in almost 20 Gujarati films and commercials. Joshi also appeared in two musical videos ” Meri Hai Maa “ (2020) and ” Apni Yaari ” (2022). The full name of Dev Joshi is Dev Dushyant Kumar Joshi who was born on 28th November, 1996 in Ahmed Abad, Gujarat, India. His father name is Dushyant Joshi and Devangna Joshi is his mother. He is the student of Political Science and studying at L.D. Arts College, Ahmedabad.
Career
At very early age Dev Joshi started to perform acting in theatre, advertisements and in Gujarati films & shows. He made his Hindi television debut with the role of Young Shukra in Mahima shani Dev Ki which was aired on NDTV Imagine in 2009. In the same year, he also appeared in Hamari Devrani with the role of Tejas. In 2010, Joshi did the lead role of Young Shaurya in Kashi – Ab na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora. With the lead role of Baal Veer in Sony Sab’s serial ” Baal Veer ” (2012-2016), for which he got much famous and won the award of Best Child Artist Award. In 2018, Joshi appeared in Chamdrashekhar . He also played his famous role of Baal Veer in Baal Veer Returns (2019-2021) and in Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga.
Dev Joshi also appeared in musical video “ Meri Hai Maa “ with the singer Trash and in ” Apni Yaari ” with Javed Ali. And more importantly, Dev Joshi is selected as a part of DearMoon Project crew in which he will fly to the moon with seven other crew members in a SpaceX lunar flight. This mission is scheduled to be occur in 2023.
