Ankit Mohan started his career in 2004 as a contestant in TV reality show MTV Roadies . Later he played minor roles in Hindi serials Miley Jab Hum Tum and Namak Haram . In 2010 , he portray the role of Nitin is drama serial Basera .
In 2011 , he give audition for Bollywood film Mausam starring Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor , and selected as Shahid’s friend Officer Ashfaq Hussain among 800 persons . Later in 2013 , he played the role of Ashwathama in Hindi historical serial Mahabharat which is very famous among audience . He is also played very prominent roles in serials Kumkum Bhagya and Naagin 3 as Akash Ajay Mehra and Yuvraj respectively .
In 2018 , he made his debut in Marathi movie Farzand , which is blockbuster hit and played the role of Marathi warrior Kondaji Farzand . Later he is also seen in many Marathi films like Fatteshikast and Pawankhind . In 2019 , he played lead role of Ansh in drama serial Haiwaan : The Monster . His most famous role is Vikram in Katelal and Sons alongside Megha Ch. He is also seen in two Marathi Web Series Ek Thi Begum and Double Game .
In 2019 , he placed thirteen in The Times of India Top 30 Most Desireable Men in Maharashtra and placed Eighteen in The Times of India Top 20 Most Desireable in Men Maharashtra .
