Maidaan is an upcoming Bollywood Movie based on true events of football era during 1952 to 1962 . In this movie Bollywood Famous Star Ajay Devgan who play the role of Syed Abdul Rahim ( Coach ) alongside Priyamani , Gajraj Rao and Rudranil Gosh . This movie represents the struggle of a Football team who is playing for the Dignity of their country and faces many problems but still the team won Gold Medal in Asian Games 1962 .
This film was in process since 2019 but delayed due to COVID-19 and finally ended up its work in 2022 . After so many releasing dates , now the film Maidaan is finally releasing on 17 February , 2023 . The film is also dubbed in Tamil , Telugu and Malayalam as well .
