Sonali Kulkarni is an Indian actress, writer and producer who initially worked in Marathi and Hindi films and then appeared in Tamil, Gujarati and English films. She is one of the most versatile actresses of Marathi film industry. In her career, she has worked in almost 70 films and also appeared in various commercials and advertisements. She also worked for some International projects.
Kulkarni made her debut in Marathi films with the film ” Mukta ” in 1994. For this very film she also won the Maharashtra State Film Award and Filmfare Marathi Award. In the same year, Sonali acted in the Tamil film “May Maadham ” with the role of Sandhya. In 1995, she appeared in Hindi television film “ Gulabari “ in 1995 and very next year she appeared again an another Hindi film ” Daayraa “. She was casted in her first English film ” Virindavan Film Studios ” with the role of ” Radha ” in 1996. Then she worked in a year for two English films An Ode to Lost Love and Bride & Prejudice. Her first Gujarati film was Love is Blind in which she did the role of Amisha in 2005. Recently in 2022, she acted in two Marathi films ” Dil Dimag Aur Batti ” and ” Ticha Shahar Hona “.
With various television serials, she also appeared on DD National, ZEE TV, Star Plus, Sony TV, Colours TV and Zee Marathi. She appeared on DD National with the serial Badalte Rishtey in 1995 and lastly in 2022, she worked in Zee Marathi with the show Bus Bai Bus Ladies Special as a guest.

Sonali Kulkarni was born on 3 november, 1974 (age= 48 as 2022) at Pune, Maharashtra, India. Her father was an engineer so she has much interest in studies and Kilkarni has completed her graduation from Ferguson College where she majored in Political Science. She also received the scholarship in Marathi Literature and had been trained in Bharatnatyam for almost 11 years. Sonali also learned the classical music for four years. As she was interested in acting, she joined the group of theatre named Samanvay.

At the age of just 18 years, she made her screen debut in Kannada film Cheluvi in 1992. Then she appeared in Tamil film May Maadham in 1994 with the role of Sandhya. Kulkarni acted in the Marathi film Mukta in 1994. She also did work in various Marathi films like; Doghi (1995), Gharabaher (1999), Chaitra (2002), Devrai (2004), Gulmohar (2009) and Pune 52, etc. Her famous Hindi films are: Gulabari, Jahan Tum Le Chalo, Mission Kashmir, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Dil Chahta Hai, Dil Vil Pyaar Vyar, Agni Varsha, White Rainbow, Darna Zaroori Hai and Strangers.
