Introduction and Political Career
Nitish Kumar is a famous and prominent politician of India who is the elected Chief Minister of Bihar since 2015. He is the leader of the Janata Dal ( united) and he has also served as the Union Minister as the member of Samata Party. Kumar was born on 1st March, 1951 in Bakhtarpur, Bihar, India. He belongs to Janata Dal political party since 2003 and to Mahagathbandhan since 2015. Nitish had also some other political affiliations with National Democratic Alliance, Samata Party (1994 to 2005) and Janata Dal (1989 to 1994). His father name is Kaviraj Ram Lakhan Singh who was Ayurvedic Practitioner and his mother name is Parmeshwari Devi. The nickname of Nitish Kumar is “Munna”. Manju Sinha is his wife who got died in 2007 and he has a son Nishant Kumar.
He got the degree in Electrical Engineering form NIT Patna in 1972. First he joined the Bihar State Electricity Board and then he turns into Politics.
