Harsh Chhaya is an Indian Television & Bollywood actor, writer and director. He made his debut with a minor role of ” Jijo “ in Zee TV’s series ” Tara ” in 1993. Harsh got famous with the role of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) in a TV series Hasratein where he played the character of a wealthy boss who exploited his married employee ” Savi “. The character of wealthy boss made him to develop the on screen image and he appeared with similar character in a Bollywood film ” Laaga Chunari Mein Daag “ with Rani Mukerji.
Chhaya has acted in Swabhimaan with the role of Karan in 1995 and also appeared in the ZEE TV’s series Justajoo in 2002. He played a businessman’s role of Kapoor in the Sagar Ballary’s film Bheja Fry. And he played a notable performance as Vinay Khosla ( a gay dress designer ) in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion in 2008.
Harsh has also acted in Marathi and Bangali films. He made his Marathi film debut in Aevdhese Aabhai and then also appeared in other Marathi films like; Red Swastik, Its Breaking News, Laaga Chuari Mein Daag, Mithya, My Fried Ganesha 2 and Coffee House. In 2011, He appeared in Bangali film Nobel Thief with the role of Raj. In a Gujarati film Shubh Aarambh, he appeared in 2017. He is also featured in some web series like; Rangbaaz, Undekhi and Out of Love.

Harsh Chhaya was born on 2nd December, 1966 (age= 56 as 2022) at Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. He has completed his education from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi and as a student of Mass Communication he joined A.J.K Mass Communication Research Centre. In 2003, after the divorce from Shefali Shah, he got married to an actress ” Sunita Sengupta “.
Career & Filmography
As a television actor, Harsh started his career with the TV serial Khali Haath in 1991 and then appeared in Tara with the minor role of Jijo. After his successful entry in television acting, he also played the roles in Tehkikaat (1994), Aahat, Swaabhimaan, Aarohan (1995), Hasratein (1996), Justajoo (2002), Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2004) and Hum, etc.
As a film actor, he made his debut in 2000 with the film Dil Pe Mar Le Yaar. After his successful debut, he also appeared in several other films like Company, Saaya, Janasheen, Ramji Londonwaley and Corporate. Harsh also played the roles in various Marathi films like; Bheja Fry, Red Swastik, Its Breaking News, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Blue Orange, etc.
Harsh is also seen in some Bengali film like; Nobel Theif, Seal Team Six: The Raid On Osama Bin Laden and Har Har Byomkesh. In 2017, he appeared in a famous Gujarati film ” Shubh Aarambh”.
In the web series Rangbaaz he appeared with the role of Sundar Singh Chauhan in 2019. he also working in Undekhi and Out Of Love. As an actor Harsh is active 1991 to present and is prominent with his performances.
