Deepika Kumari was born on 13 June 1994 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India . Deepika,s father is a rickshaw driver and her mother is a nurse at Ranchi Hospital . Deepika Kumari belongs to a middle class family and she see her parents struggling day and night . Her parents wants deepika's poster in newspaper and her journey to a athelete beguns when she join State Run Archery Academy . This academy give free equipment and training to impoverished atheltes . Deepika practice her Archry with equipment made of Bamboo and made three Olympics Records . Once she said ,
"My parents were wanted me to do something that my picture would appear in newspapers , and now they are amazed that i have become bigger than they ever expected me to "

Deepika likes to practice archery by pointing mangoes with stones . She also made her equipments made of bamboo as the equipment are not affordable for her .
She joined Arjun Archery Academy in 2005 but later she joined Tata Archery Academy , Jamsedpur for training .
Deepika start her professional carrer with rs 500 as an achrey athelte with equipment and uniform .
In 2006 she win Palton Hansda title in Archry World Cup in mexico and become the second Indian athlete to have that title .
She won two gold medal at Delhi Commomwealth Games . One in individual and second in women recurve team event
In 2012 , she won Gold Medal in Archry World Cup .
She also won two bronze medal in Asian Games . One in individual and second in womens’s recurve team event .
She beat Lee-Sung-Jing by six points and win Gold Medal in individual event at World Cup in Atlanta .
In 2012 she lost in the opening round from Amy Oliver of Great Britain in London Olympics .
She won silver medal at FITA Archery World Cup in 2013
She won Silver Medal in recurve team event at World Championships 2015 .
Later , in Asain Championship event she won Bronze Medal at Women’s mixed event in 2015 .
In Rio Olympics 2016 , she play a very important role in Women’s recurve Team .
She become the 11th Archer and 13th triple gold medallist in Archery World Cup Stage 3 .
In 2019 , Deepika Kumari qulaified for Tokyo Olympics 2020
