Martin Luther King Jr. – TIME for Kids

Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of the most important leaders of the American civil rights movement. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 15, 1929. His father was a minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church, and his grandfather had also been a minister.

King studied at Morehouse College and Crozer Theological Seminary. In 1954, he became the pastor of Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Oscar De La Hoya Biography

Oscar De La Hoya is a retired professional boxer who competed from 1992 to 2008.
