Akshara Haasan is a well known and famous actress of India and a qualified dancer and singer . She was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on 12 October, 1991. Akshara is the daughter of famous actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur and sister of bollywood Actress Shruti Haasan . As an actress she has a supporting role of her younger sister Shruti Haasan and her family. At the age of 24 she made her debut in 2015 with a Bollywood movie Shamitabh as an actress along with well reputed actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush and she also appeared in Tamil movie Vivegam in 2017.
She live with her mother in Mumbai after the divorce of her parents. Akshara was an atheist and now she is converted to Buddhism. She is not only an actress, she is also a singer and she likes to play football.

Akshara Haasan started her carrier in film industry as an assistant director for Telugu and Tamil films in 2010 . Prior actress she rejected the offer in 2011 due to her work as an assistant director. Shamitabh a Hindi featured film is her first movie in 2015 and in Vivegam a Tamil Movie in 2017. She also worked in a web series Fingerprint by Zee 5 Series in 2019 .
