Manju Pillai is a famous Indian actress who appeared in Malayalam films and also in TV shows. Pillai got prominent by her comedic roles and she has also played character roles. She is the grand daughter of a famous Malayalam film actor ” S.P Pillai “. Her performance in the film Home (2021) has made her much famous. Manju was born on 11th May, 1976 and owns a very busy career as an actress in Malyalam films from 1992 to present and has appeared in several films with different roles. She also worked in many TV serials, TV shows and advertisements. Manju has won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in two consecutive years 2001 and 2002.
She got married with Mukundan Menon who was a Malayalam Cine serial artist but was after divorced and then married to Sujith Vaassudev on 23rd Dec, 2000 who is a cinematographer. And they have blessed by a daughter ” Daya Sujith “. She started her acting with the television serial Sathyavun Mithyayum and appeared in her first film Sabarimalayil Thanka Sooryodayam in 1992. Manju has seen in more than 35 Malayalam films and in several TV shows and serials.

In 2001 and 2022 she won the Best Supporting Actress award consecutively at Kerala Film Critics Association Awards and declared Best Second Actress in 2022 at Flowers TV Awards. In 2017, she won the Best Female Comedian Award at Frame Journalism Awards and in 2009 at Reporter TV Awards. And achieved the Best Supporting Actress Award in 2021.
