Karishma Kotak was born on 26th May, 1982 in London, England. Her father is an Indian Gujrati and her mother belongs East Africa. She spent her early life in England with her father, mother and a younger brother Sunny Kotak. After schooling, she completed her degree of Bachelor of Arts in Advertising & Marketing and also enrolled for a teaching course to become a teacher.
At the age of 20 years, she toured India and analysed much scope & potential in Indian fashion and film industry. Within two months of her relocation of London to Mumbai, she started her work with a calendar publisher United Breweries Group in Kingfisher Calendar 2006 which was dream for any model. She did several TV commercials related to skin and beauty ads for the brands like; Dove, Ponds, Hair Color and Saffola,etc. She was also appeared as a cover girl for various magazines of India. She also did work in England and Europe’s advertisements and campaigns. Kotak worked for famous brands of Toni & Guy and FCUK.
