In 2014, Erin acquired a position as press assistant to South Dakota Senator John Thune. In 2017, she resigned Thune after nearly three years to become Kevin McCarthy’s national press secretary. Erin was designated Senior Deputy Communications Director to former President Donald Trump in March 2019.
